Atesti para Dana - The Association
How an association handles it
Atesti para Dana is a philosophy, not a rulebook.
But an association needs a framework. Here is one that works.
The templates
Every founding member receives 10 templates upon joining.
A template is not yet an Atesti. It is an invitation to give.
Founding members receive a little more, because they prepare the ground
on which others will walk.
The creation process
- You act first β you give something, without knowing whether you will receive anything in return
- The recipient confirms β they sign the template
- You go to the association β with the completed template
- The association checks and stamps β serial number verified, Atesti stamped
- You receive vouchers and coins β backed by the work you have already given
The three witnesses are: the giver, the recipient, and the association.
Nothing more and nothing less. Simple and dignified.
The serial number
Every template carries a unique serial number.
The association keeps a list of which numbers have been created and which are still open.
This prevents double creation. This is our Sybil attack detection,
not through technology, but through community and transparency.
How many Atesti do we need?
This is not decided by the board. It is decided by life.
In the beginning with three members, massage, haircut, car repair,
few notes are needed. More would be inflation in advance.
When the farmer joins and brings potatoes,
when the craftsman joins and repairs roofs,
when the landlord joins and exchanges living space for Atesti,
then more are needed. And then we create more.
The money supply grows in proportion to the variety of offerings, not to time, not to population.
The members' wall
Every association member gets their own page β a digital notice board.
They list what services they offer: massage, gardening, cooking, crafts, tutoring β whatever they can and wish to give.
Other members can search specifically β for example "massage Wittenberg". The wall replaces classified ads. Everything stays within the association. No algorithm decides who gets seen.
What can you pay with it?
Each member decides for themselves.
The association maintains an open list of what is offered.
As a guideline: a dignified simple life costs about 1000 Atesti per month.
When food, crafts, mobility and housing are covered,
you hardly need fiat money anymore.
Whoever wants more, gives more. And receives more.
Not because they have to. Because they can and want to.
Who does the Atesti belong to?
The Atesti belongs to the community, not to the individual.
It was created through an act, confirmed by three witnesses,
brought to life by the association.
It travels. It lives. It carries its history with it.
When a member leaves the association, their Atesti remain in circulation.
They created them and let them go. That was the gift.
The sealing
No hologram. No chip. No central bank.
Just plastic, so it does not get wet, does not tear, does not disappear.
The protection does not come from technology.
The protection comes from the three signatures and the community that stands behind them.
